Day 6 - Tromso

Arrived in Tromso just before 8am to another snow scene.

Once again the Horizon magazine says no sunrise. 

Shuttle bus to port is not running between 10.30 and 12.30 which is just the time I planned to go in order to make the most of the few hours of daylight we actually get so not sure what to do now.

And then we had a power cut 😱 and guess who was sitting on the loo at the time!! Very disconcerting. Had thought of booking a trip to go explore Tromso rather than brave the shuttle, but the excursion desk was closed and although the power came back on very quickly the app wasn't working. 

Spent the rest of the wandering around the ship and playing with the camera on the top deck, just in case the lights come out.

Left the TV on the northern lights broadcast channel as I was hoping something would happen between midnight and 3am as that was the most likely time according to the aurora app recommended by the photographer. 

Nothing, other than a call for four passengers at about 1am. 😱
