Day 2 - North Sea

Didn't wake up until 8am as it was still dark but as breakfast in the restaurant didn't start until 8.30, I wasn't overly concerned. 


Tried out the shower which I can confirm is horrible. It's pretending to be a bath as well but doesn't function well as either. Bath area about 3ft but high sided so difficult to get in and out of and taps at narrow end meant you had to lean backwards to get underneath. It did have a mat though.

Went to solo get together at 10am, nice group but not the organised activity I'd expected, just a bunch of people dumped in a room together. Then went to the talk about the northern lights which was very interesting if a bit too scientific for the likes of me. Tomorrow he's giving photography tips 😲, although there are so many tips this might just be one too many.

Lunch in restaurant with a glass of rosé and off to explore the ship.

Don't know where the afternoon went but  managed to have a good look around decks 6, 7 and 8 and did a couple of laps of the promenade deck, although it was a bit windy. 
Captains cocktail party (which I missed) and formal dinner (for which I bought a silver wrap £15 in the shop this afternoon) in the evening.
