Day 12 - Crossing the North Sea

Still choppy this morning but wind force down to 7 from 12 last night. Not sure what that means but its what gets displayed on the TV. 

Captain finally announced that the winds last night were recorded at a high of 130 knots, 155mph so I guess pretty impressive.  Spoke to my cabin steward this morning and he said that its the worst storm he has experienced in his 6 years on the ship. Crows Nest back to normal, although they haven't reinstated the fallen Christmas trees. 

Oh yes they have 😂

Still very choppy but after last night, think I have my sea legs 😂

Restaurant very disorganised this morning and getting a drink harder than ever. I asked for water 3 times (they appear not to want you to drink water) finally ordered 2 glasses and eventually 1 arrived. Got a cup (tiny tea cup) of tea but gave up on getting a second and adjourned to the self service restaurant. First time, I've ever given up on being served at breakfast time.

Rest of the day still choppy and very windy outside but spent it packing and I did go to the talk on Norways animals.

Finished packing and put my cases out by 8pm, now just got to finish my brandy.
